Power Surge causes thermostat to blow fuse on control board.

After a power outage the customer reported that the thermostat screen was blank. We isolated the low voltage components and found that the thermostat had been damaged internally and would cause the 3 amp fuse on the air handler control board to blow. Replacing the thermostat resolved the issue.
